England finish top with win

England finished top of their World Cup qualifying group with a win against Belarus at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday night. The game finished 3-0 with goals from Peter Crouch (2) and Shaun Wright-Phillips as England achieved their seventh straight victory at Wembley.
David played most of the second half, coming on to rapturous applause, and his introduction sparked life into a game that was threatening to fizzle out - making a goal with his first touch and then hitting the outside of the post with a shot later in the game - he was later awarded Man of the Match for his performance.
Another substitute, James Milner, also hit the post as England drove forward looking for a fourth goal against a technically gifted Belarus side.
